My question is how should I initially set up my new heel clicker weights. I have a piped 700 viper. Crp pipes. New heel clicker weights/set. Have a track extension. Also on it is a team rapid response secondary. Says 58 38 46 er. I do a lot of aggressive trail riding but would like it to fly on the lake. So my question is how much weight in the shoulder tip and center. I have a red hc spring.

Does the sled have an 8 tooth driver? What gears are you running

Subscribed!!! I'm in the same boat as you! I set mine to the specs in the kit. Read on here that 15mm or 15.6mm rollers have been found to work better with the HCs than the stock 14.5mm. I'm running a 1.75 track with 8t drivers and 21/39 gears. Also my team I'm running a red/black spring with a 50/34-46.
Have yet to test it out.

youll need 15 or 15.6mm rollers for sure as that helix is pretty steep on the finish angle and youll struggle to pull topend rpm otherwise.

I would start about 47-48 grams overall. 4-5 grams tip and 3-4 Mid. Don't include heel weight in overall weight. Try 4-5 grams heel. Hopefully mr viper will chime in again. I agree I think that helix is very steep. I would go 34-36 finish angle. Those pipes run around 9200 rpm I THINK... so this may be a bit heavy. Should be close though. You gotta test. Doesn't sound like a top end sled to me and in my opinion these are not the weights to use for top end speed on the lake. We had better luck with heavy hitters. Can't beat them in the trail though. Up to 100mph they rip.
