You guys are probably tired of me by now, but I did some work on the primary and secondary, and found that there was an incorrect washer/shim on the secondary shaft. I ordered a new set, plus the collar and find that there's still play in the secondary if I pull back and forth on it. Is that normal? My Clymer doesn't mention it.

Yup good 1/8 to 1/4 inch. And all good on questions, ask away. That's why we're all here!

That is part of Yamaha's design. Floating secondary Self centers belt.
Cool, I'm right at 1/8" too tight, or good? There is one washer on.

Sounds good to me. 1/4 is probably a bit much but no Sleds here to look at.
