Viper Seat On SRX

It will bolt directly on, but if you don't also switch to a viper gas tank you will see the screws in the top that the elastic bands in the front of the srx seat hook around

As mentioned, you should swap out the gas tank, rear bumper, and rear bumper cover for this. You will also need to swap the wiring connector. The seat is 2.2 pounds lighter for what it is worth. I will be honest and say it is not as plush as the stock srx seat but the looks and the weight savings are worth it imo. Hope this helps

Did you have to do what '2ooosrx' stated? Swap out the SRX fuel tank with the Viper? Also swap out the rear tail-light wiring connector?

Yes,

We actually did all the work to Shanenims sled. As you can see, he is still using the stock SRX rear bumper and cover which works just fine. He is running a viper gas tank and the connector was changed out very easily. Don't get me wrong, you can still use your SRX gas tank for this swap, it is just an eye sore. The only thing you technically need to change in order to make this change is the seat and the connector. It is plug and play.

Is the plug-n-play connectors (from the main wiring harness, to the tail-light connector) an easy swap? Like can I get a connector harness from a Viper, and just plug-n-play? Yeah, the gas take is an easy swap.

I believe when I did it, I cut the connector off my srx seat, cut the connector off the viper seat, and used the connector from the srx seat on the viper seat. Not too much to it. I suppose you could solder the wires together too.
