Thinking about blowing the dusting off the Viper-s and doing some mods for a project. I am interested and in search of what you guys think are good options. I have a expert-x for it that used to be on it thinking that is absolutely gong back in. (anyone else using something different? not interested in m-10). I am in search of...
Boss seat or ????? Need to be higher for sure.
Bar riser and cables
Clutch kit?
Reeds?

Anything else? Thoughts?

I ride it pretty hard and just want to have some fun with it when not riding my current model sleds. I have had this sled since it was new. One of my all time favorites. I have had a new sled about every year since the 4 strokes came out just could not let go of this one.

Clutch kit. Go with heavy hitters or heel clickers. Lots of info here. Don't waste your money on reeds stock work good for cheap. Triple pipes and a good trail port really wakes these sleds up. look into srx rear cooler if doing pipes and such. Depending on how much work you want to do...look into blue printing your sled. Doing this squares up your drive shafts and your skid which reduces drag a HUGE amount. Haha I could go on for hours. Ohlins front shocks are another awesome mod.

Viper S comes with ohlins out front so he's good there......like said pipes and porting if you're just looking for something to have fun on in between the other rides. Obviously clutching would be required

First place parts has a $100 off boss seats right now... That's about what you're going to pay for a used newer style one in good shape... Wish I could have saved that last season when I picked mine up... Seats are sweet btw.
