Was just wondering what pilot jet to run on an 02 viper 700 pulling my kids around the yard plus doing some trail riding. Just don't want to burn motor up doing the slow speed riding with sled behind going around yard. Didn't know if there was a middle of the road pilot jet.

you dont need to change the jetting. Best is to run premium fuel, have the rear heat exchanger and move the needles. This combo should keep you safe. Safe needles will be 4th groove both washers on top, even safer one washer on top one on bottom. Sled will get a little "burbly" with one on top one on bottom but will keep ya safe at slow speeds. fuel screws 2 turns out and you will be good.

Thanks man sounds like a plan. I just put needle at #4 with both washers on top. You think it's worth going back in and pupton one on top and one of bottom?

I was also thinking about changing to evans waterless coolant. You ever hear of the stuff. The guy at power modz did a test on it pretty impressive! It's on youtube

If you already did the carbs its up to you. I run my viper and daughters at both on top but we use a lot of throttle. The wife sits on the midrange a lot so i went on on top one on bottom. Its about the long hold in the midrange. just running around the yard you should be good. Just my 2cents but the coolant stuff is snake oil, i dont drag race my sleds. I dont think the type of riding i do ever puts them to the extreme. Just a 60:40 mix has been all ive needed.

Thanks super1c, I will probably leave it where it's at and do some plug reading and see what kind of riding I will end up doing. Probably not to much high speed until kids get a little older. 4 and 2 never to young to start!

For sure, start them young. Seen more then one little one sleeping with their head on the handle bar pad out riding. My buddies son used to fall a sleep while riding and his head would hit the kill switch and shut him down. Never followed to close at end of day. HAHA

That would be my little girl. We were cruising the lake on our boat on a choppy day and she fell asleep on top of engine compartment cushion! Haha
