84 vmax 540

Hello fellow yamanuts, I just acquired another sled I don't need, but eh, oh-well! I am sure it will be fun! Its a 1984 540VMX with 700 miles. I just drained the stale crap from the tank and put some fresh gas in but am having a helluva time trying to figure out how I am going to remove the carbs for a cleaning without major work!?
Its a pretty tight fit especially with the coolant hose right there above the carbs. Anyone have any info or experience witht this sled? With twin pipes and big carbs I am guessing it will run pretty well! pics soon.

worse than it looks. the one closer to the clutches will come right out. don,t lose,in the second clamps on the air box. just your flanges. get them lose and twist and turn at the same time. they will come out. 3:16x (yammie tony)
