Just got my rear heat exchanger and started installing it last night drilling good old rivets out gotta love it! So I got the tube out and was dry fitting the cooler and noticed I may need to trim the tunnel protectors a little to have it fit right. Is this normal? Also looks like I'll have to drill new hOle in tunnel for bleed screw. Any help or tips to install would be great. Thanks again

You shouldn't have to trim the tunnel protectors. Yes, you will have to drill a new hole for the bleeder screw also.

Just found a post from you super1c from a while ago with instructions on how to install rear cooler. Yea looks like they give you a dimension from rear tunnel. Thanks for the replies!

Thanks drew! Yea didn't measure it out yet but was going to figure that out tonight. What rivets did you use? I live by McMaster Carr so I ordered some high strength zinc plated steel ones 3/16 x .580 long.
