I posted this in the sxr section as well.
I am a novice when it comews to clutches, have only cleaned them in the past.
I just bought the sled a week ago, rode it about 14 miles on the weekend and noticed it is hitting 9000 when you open it up. The previous owner had just installed reed spacers and reeds. He also installed a Bender power shift clutch kit. From the paper work this is what it tells me.
Secondary Helix is now a 9760 RR 45/39, setting at 80 degrees (6&2). nothing else done no weights or rollers
The old spring in the box is yellow green yellow, and the Helix is 51/48.
Any suggestions on getting the rev down to 8400 as the spec sheet says it should be at.
Spec says 4400 engage 8400 shift.
