I picked up a 1996 VMAX 600XT and a 1995 VMAX 600 LE for parts. The LE has way less miles and estart so I was going to swap the motors. Will I need to bring anything else over before I sell the leftover chassis?

I'm not sure about the pre proaction sleds but I pulled the e-start out of my 02 mtn Max last year and it's all plug and play. I believe the 2 cylinders need a smoothing condenser for the battery charging but it should have a pigtail in the harness for it. And of course the ring gear off the primary, but it might be easier to swap clutches if they are calibrated the same.

I have the same 2 sleds.

The earlier 600's have the ring gear on the flywheel. Bring the battery tray/relay mount and the starter wiring over. The ignition switch in the XT will work it just that the sticker won't show you the start position.

You will need to use the XT clutch and carb setups if your going to run the 96 pipe since it is larger and runs at a higher RPM.
I posted a Maxx performance 96 XT jetting/clutch setup on this site years ago. It has worked great for me for almost 20 years now. I'll see if I can find it post the link here.

That Maxx perf sheet on your #9 post sure looks familiar.
The jetting notes were written in my Maxx perf when I told them I was going to be running a 95 head gasket.
