vmax TSS shock holder

Can anyone tell me if the front coil spring holders from a 94-96 vmax (non adjustable type ) are the same diameter as the 96 600xt adjustable ones ? I have an adjustable one , it measures 3 1/2" OD . I know the coil spring part number is the same so I'm Ok there but the can size might still differ . Basically i want to repair my adjustable can with the steel tubing cannibalized from a non adjustable one but wont have the donor part for a few weeks . Don't want to wait just to find out it isn't going to work .

I have a non adjustable one that looks pretty close to new that I'd trade ya for.

While i sincerely appreciate the offer ...however i am not after a non adjustable one . I am merely looking for the outside diameter of one . I have the adjustable one on my sled that i wish to repair , if the OD of both types match up then i know my repair will go as planned .
