Reed cage mounting bolts.

May I ask,the bolts that hold the reed cages to the engine block, do you put a sealer on the threads? I didn't see anything in my service book,so I just take for granted like most thru bolts that go into the engine that they have a bit of sealer on them.

I've never put any sealer on them.

They are a blind hole, not drilled through. No sealer required..........................SRXtreme

Sorry guys', found out today when I was putting the cages back in the block,yes they are not thru holes! My bad.

The most I've even done is brush a dab of HIGH TACK on the threads.
