I have a Dynoport silencer on my SXr. The thing is way loud. Is there such a thing as repacking these things ?? If so do I send it out or do it myself ?

sure you can do them yourself. Some are welded seams, some only have spot welds, and some have snap rings to remove, if they are welded, simply cut the end off with a cut off wheel, repack with muffler packing from your local dirtbike shop and reweld the seam, done, and it will not only be quieter, but usually a bit more power will return.

You should be able to search the forums. I just repacked my Benders and posted it on here. I used some string type stuff thats supposed to be quiter than the mats. Its sounds a little deeper after the repack I'm not sure its any quieter.
