I am still getting an issue at top end especially noticeable on long straight trails where the sled starts to go flat and decelerate. If I let off and punch it, it's good for a 3-5 seconds then repeat.

Could this be weak springs? I also picked up a good used stator - wondering if that could be it too..

Rebuild top end - had the problem before and its still there
New jack shaft bearings... very little resistance in drive train including track.
installed a SRX fuel pump - no change
plugs look perfect.

Has anyone had this issue?

What are you running for clutching and jetting with the Bender pipes? I chased a problem for a while that I thought was clutching, it ended up being a jetting issue.

150 mains and I think 42.5 pilots from memory and I'll have to dig up clutching info I had a buddy clutch it... was yours simply a lean or rich issue?

This may sound crazy, I had a 01 SRX700 when tipped on side, fuel line in tank got hooked over fuel sending arm, hose was not laying flat in bottom of tank.
Also what kind of belt are you using, 8DN?

I think you mean 52.5 pilots, which is too rich. Try running 47.5's and you should be good.

Yes brand new 8dn belt... Oh man how in the world did you figure out the fuel hose bit! I'll definitely check that......

I'll have my sled back soon to clarify my pilots. I'm running whatever bender recommended and I wouldn't want to be any leaner since I already have hanging idle syndrome...

it definitely sounds like a clutching issue. maybe spring or maybe too much weight in tip!
