Well decided after reading as much as I could find about it that id try to tackle the driveshaft bearing on my own but now I don't know if I should :o|. I cannot get the track tension to loosen up and can't seem to get the set screws loose off the shaft kind of at a loss. Would I be better off just taking the skid all the way out or is there something I'm doing wrong? I've only had the sled for about a year and she was kind of neglected I'm not new to riding just new to tryin to do it myself.Trying to teach myself is probably not a good idea but you guys always seem to have the answer so thought I'd ask and see what your opinions are thanks for you time all.

Kind of hard to get the skid out without loosening track. Need to address that first. Have you loosened the rear axle bolt first? Look through track windows at the rear of machine and loosen nuts on each side of rear axle(count the amount of turns you back nuts off) till about flush with threaded stud. You may have to bang the axle and rear wheels forward to get it to loosen up. Are the set screws your talking about the ones on the LH bearing holding it to the track drive shaft?
