On eBay all the cylinders that I found were damaged that's why I thought it may be better to resleeve it

Is there a difference between the y-2 casting number on the side the only jug that is in good shape that I found it says y-1

Instead of resleeving the jug, have you considered having it replated? Power Seal USA has a good reputation replating dirt bike cylinders.

find another cylinder of re-plate ..............sleeving is old school before replating was offered ..........I us US chrome they have done over 100 cylinders for me and some that where brought back from complete junk your cylinder looks like a strip replate and hone to size job
