Stock 84 Phazer ridden in Michigan mostly trail and some river and lake with the boys on the vintage rides. I'm familiar with the nozzle updates but need complete pilot, main and primary/secondary baseline settings.
Anyone leave jetting stock and slap a dial a jet on each carb with a pipe? Thanks in advance...

I searched for 2 hours before posting and need clutching info and or links to all of the old threads please...

I dont believe you have to change the nozzles unless you have some wild porting. Pink/pink/pink ypz primary spring will do you right.

Cool, thanks. 20 years ago I put a PSI a pipe on a 91 Phazer and used PSI's clutching and jetting. Was a 150 main and different primary and secondary springs but can't remember colors and the pilot size but thinking 100's. Ran perfect and was fast and reliable. I've talked to the lady at Aaen, emailed 3x and still nothing emailed to me. She wasn't overly excited to help me out and it's been a week...

Well, I imagine aaen is flooded with phone calls and e-mails this time of year. As with any business, Im sure 900 out 901 calls taken do not lead to any sales. Another issue is that I would bet half of the calls he gets are from people who have no business working on a sled or reproducing for that matter. lol Especially with the older products that arent vintage yet.
Anyway hang in there. You can always PM Yamaha Nutz. He has alot of experience with modded Phazers.

Good point. I know 100-110 pilots and 150 mains is very close but am pondering leaving stock jetting and playing with dial a jets and dig out my old egt's...

I have this from aaen. Not much help. I am trying to figure out the jetting for my 93 phazer 2 st.
Jetting for 4000-7000'.
