I have seen a lot videos on YouTube of people using sea foam on their sleds I thought about trying it this year to get the carbs a little extra cleaning. I jw if anybody on here has ever done it and if it actually works.
I've used it in my motorcycles and lawn mower when I winterize them. Their carbs were clean when I put them to bed and were clean in the spring. I think it works to maintain clean barbs, but I don't think it will cure dirty carbs.

I use this stuff during the season in my mower and bikes to help fight the ill effects of ethanol in gasoline.

I have used the past 4 years love it. Use to use stabil for off season storage still had problems with pilot jets and such varnishing up. Since using seafoam had not had to pull the triple carbs off either of mine since. If your thinking of using it to clean carbs so you don't have to pull them apart I wouldn't. If there is gunk in the bowls you may have an issue. Clean carbs now and don't ignore off season storage and you will be fine.

I've used sea foam on bikes, snowblowers and lawnmowers, seems to help clean up the carbs. For summer storage on my sleds I always use stabil marine formula, the regular stabil doesn't seem to work very well.

I use it in my sleds. Usually every couple tanks or so and then at end of season as sometimes they sit for a few weeks in between snow here in Indiana. I still pull the carbs and clean before season starts but they are always clean. It is worth the little bit it takes to pull off and clean since it doesn't take much to have a burn down.

I always pull the carbs and clean them just didn't know if it was worth running a little sea foam through the motor after pulling the carbs!

I always use seafoam on stored vehicles, boats, tractors, yard equipment, cycles, and snowmobiles. I always run a heavy dose at the beginning of the season and have never had a carb gunk up. The jets are only part of what needs to keep clean. The passages between the jet and the carb throat are very tiny especially in the idle circuit. The jet is just a meter for the idle and main circuit. The circuit passages are often what gets plugged and not checked when rebuilding. These can easily plug. The best way to be certain is blow compressed air in the jet and make sure air gets through to the carb throat. Most old non running equipment I have bought I usually takes a dose of seafoam in the gas it I can get it to run and most but not all the time it will clear the jets and passages. If not it gets a teardown, soak, and compressed air to check/clear the passages. The worst case I had was a Suzuki dirt bike that had a piece of jet stuck in the idle passage. I had to use a thin wire to get that out and it was way in there. Good reason not to get too aggressive with tools and jets. Anyway, Seafoam has been used for years, and no I don't work for them, but it's worked for me and never yet let me down. At the end of the season put a few ounces per gallon in the fuel and run it into the carb and if you should be fine.

Don't waste your money, especially if you're pulling the carbs before the first ride.
