looking to replace suspension 92 Phazer II or upgrade?
one rail is bad, both shocks, rear arms cracked, and wheels
so I thought its time to look into a upgrade?
has anyone done this? tons of Phazers around I would think
it would be popular.
What about a proaction rear suspension?
looking for reasonable priced and good look when done.
I realize I will be drilling and relocate, so if someone has done this
with template or measurements that would be GREAT

I have put a 97 proaction in a 93 exciter sx ....due to the stock skid being just about junk ...never done it in a phazer I like the way my 91 rides so I never thought about it

I was just ready to pm you.
you just measure and relocate mounting locations?
I have a XTC wonder if the skid mount locations are the same?

You will most likely have to drill new holes and brace up the area around the holes with sheet metal and rivets if you are putting a different suspension in.
As long as you have the measurements (specific to the new suspension you are putting in) it is pretty straight forward.

the proaction suspension will fit, just take the measurements off the proaction chassis and transfer them to your sled .....then the fun part, the proaction arms have to be narrowed up to fit the chassis the rear and center cross shafts are pretty easy but the front arm will take some time it will have to be narrowed pretty much right up to the weld if I remember right on the exciter I did it looks factory when I was done
