Just replaced my stator last night and I 1997 Yamaha Vmax SX and I have no spark at all. I did hook my stator connectors back up to the sled. Thinking my kill switch might be bad. Any suggestions?!

Kill switch could be bad.
But just a thought did you put the stator back in time?? It's possible that might be the problem.

Did you possibly unknowingly unhook any other wires. Highly doubt the kill switch all the sudden went bad when you changed the stator. Could happen but would be a heck of a coincidence. Check the wires going to the coils.
Is it possible that the kill switch was the problem in the first place? I had a very similar experience and had to replace kill switch also. It wouldn't run over 5500 rpm. . So figured it was stator. Once I replaced both I was all good.

Is there a way to by-pass the kill switch on most of the yamaha's

to bypass the kill switch, just unplug it.
