Hi
I busted a bolt while trying to get the frontmost mounting on my rear suspension (H arm) fastened to the tunnel. If I can get the bolt out, is it possible to re-thread the hole and try again? 2001 MM.
thanks.

I have to admit, yes I forced it, till it snapped off, so there would have to be done a big job at drilling. A used shaft I can't find here in the middle of nowhere. Ordering a new one tomorrow, but thanks for the replies.

You should be able to drill it out and tap it to a standard size that's only a fraction bigger than the metric in it now,but I don't know how available standard imperial fasteners are in Norway. The only down side to that method is you'll have metric on one side and standard on the other but at least it'll be fixed,or usable for a spare.

I ordered a new shaft. I tried to drill and hammer a removal tool in it, but also that snapped.
