The roll pin works or using the link above the guy used a 3/16 tube. However I can't see these two things working if the end is already pulled through... Mrviper700 is the guy who repairs them proper.

The tube idea will work fine if pulled through. The only way it wont work is if you have totally wrecked entire end. I havent (knock on wood) but if i do have any pull throughs ill just do the above repair. I read also a SS rivet body works well also and i would use some green locktite to secure repair. Just let dry at room temp overnight then GTG!!
