Thanks a lot for the reply & direction.... I dug up a set up from Turk that's highly recommended and simple..... 53/43 multi angle helix, Yamaha green secondary, 4.5g weights in the tips.... 3900 engagement, 8500 top end rev and pulls all thru the powerband.... Sounds like a winner, thanks again

That's a good route should keep you hapiy for awhile. If you ever decide it's time for more you really won't be out much if you change direction and go with heelclickers or something along that line.

Went from my 2004 stock viper last year to light performance modded viper this year i would recommend you to my set up 100% mines night and day different from last year you better have a good hold on the bars when u hit the throttle now.

This year I did:
- 136 Hartman rail extension and skid relocate w/ 1.5" lug paddle track
- Boyesen Rage Cages
- Anti Rachet Drivers
- WEISCO Forged Piston Kit
- MBRP Trial Can
- most importantly Heel Clicker Clutch Kit!

My clutch kit has a red primary spring, yellow secondary, and the heel clicker clutch allows for hundreds of different options, the bottom end was crazy with too much track spin when first installed now dialled in will little bottom end track spin and just pure of the line hole shot power and still rev out to about 120mph

This sled went from your average viper to a rocket from start to finish, better ride, better off trial and on trial, blows many new sleds out of the water, still good on fuel, and all and all just amazingly fun to ride! would recommend to anybody! Just my 2 cents worth

Hey there !

Thanx alot for the detailed reply, sounds like a great set up on Your sled. I haven't been on here for awhile due to the brutal winter we're having but I've planned a trip up North in a few weeks and getting the sled dialed in... I've changed my clutching to Turk's popular set up, but went with a Dalton Racing multi- Angle Helix instead of a Yamaha Helix.... Huge improvement vs stock for sure. Do You have any idea if the Boyesen Rage Cage offers increased performance over their power reeds ? I currently have power reeds in the sled....

I had my skid out recently any noticed the prev owner had the limiter straps pretty much as loose as possible.... IS there a reccommended setting for good transfer & performance on the straps ? Thanks for any input !

Cheers
