Years back I had a rollform ported 700sx with ceramic coated power inc end dumps. Held its own for what it was. I loved that sled. At the time I had 2 sets of end dumps. And wish I never got rid of them. Lol but never figured on building another sx. Ya I saw saw those pipes on ebay to. Just think that's alittle much for the work that would need to be done.
How well did your ol one run? what other mods did you do to it? Heads fuel chassis exc?

for a improver engine youd want some custom built race pipes. As a improver sx engine would be running at 9700-10000 rpm. If your building just a hot rod redhead the best pipe to run ice drags that was just a production pipe for trail is the old cpr pipes, originally they ran at 8900-9000rpm but if you shorten up the headpipes and run them at 9300-9400rpm with a sleeve in the stinger for 500-660ft racing, they do very well.

Don I came across a set of 760 cylinders. Might just do a ice play sled. Do u have any info on these kits. I'm looking to do a straight race gas build. For ice play only.

problem with red head big bore is piston availability, as hauck and bender may still have the exclusive rights to them from wiseco. I would check that first. I ran into that a couple years ago, not sure if its still currently like that, so that means you have to buy that piston from hauck or bender only.

I currently have 5 brand new Pistons. Hauck also said they can still get/or have pistons. What kind of hp can these kits produce. I think I have a set of cpr pipes lined up. (otherwise have a set of benders on the shelf) I would like to set it up to run race gas. Do these motors benefit from case porting ?? Do heelclickers work well with these ??
