Hey guys,

I'm in the middle of a vmax build and I'm looking for performance gains for cheap when I can get them. There's a vmax pipe for sale (see pic) and the seller is not sure of the brand, so I don't know if it's a good pipe or any of the jetting specs to go with it. There don't seem to be any identifying marks on it, and I don't think it's an AAEN or GYT pipe. Anybody know who made this pipe or if the hp gain would be worth it?

Thanks for the help guys.

I don't think it's the standard pipe, at least not on my model (94 500). I think some of the later vmaxs came standard with a GYT single pipe, so this could maybe be that pipe(?), but I haven't been able to find one quite like it. Does AAEN usually have their name somewhere on the pipe? That's the one thing that makes me think it's not AAEN.

PM me a couple of bucks, I'm curious about the GYT twins.

not stock, and its not aaen. its not a gyt, psi would have been embossed like aaen did, so its anybody's guess. but that helps you figure out what its not.

leaves you with what, hauck, dg, rpc, etc. it almost looks like a stock pipe with a silencer mod from the weld back.

While the replacement GYT single will have a silver tag on them, the stock 96 600 will not and they both look just like this one:

Looks like were running out of guesses?
