I know Pioneer Performance was a good resource to pick up a fresh set of rear shocks to convert a short travel pro-action skid to a long travel. But sadly that resource is now gone.
Anyone else know a good resource to pick up new/rebuilt center/rear shock upgrades for the late 90's pro-action skid? I'm trying to avoid the salvage + rebuild option because you never know what you're getting into with a salvage shock.
Picture attached to tug at your heart strings.....it'd be a shame to let this one continue as a short travel skid.....(please help)

I have a works performance rear skid shock that I was running in my mountain max until I put an aftermarket skid in. It was a huge upgrade and is dual rate with 2 springs on a sliding collar. You can revalve and re spring it. Works performance is the only manufacturer of shocks for these sleds that are true aftermarket bolt on.

A lot cheaper buying used and rebuilding them but you do not want to go that route. New shocks will cost you a lot of coins not mention you'll also need to buy springs as well. Good luck
Always liked the red sx's especially the 98's with the front OHLINS.
