I have a 91 phazer II st long track that I brought back from the dead. Next step is to pull the rear skid and go through it.

I weigh 300 lbs when all geared up to ride. As of right now, even sitting on the sled at a dead stop I bottom out the skid. What do I need to adjust to get the most clearance / stiffest ride?

You could make taller front spring hooks, you could drill new holes a 1/2" back farther on the rails where the rear arm attatches. Or try new springs.

Crank up the adjuster blocks to the stiffest setting. They are the plastic blocks that the springs perch on. Use the spark plug socket. You can switch to Venture two-up springs, they are stiffer.
