Hey guys I have a 91 venture that acts like it has dirty pilots. Carbs have been cleaned repeatedly even swaped with my phazer.Still does it. Falls off between 3000-4000 rpm somewhere between 4500-5000 it starts to run fine then runs great upstairs. My phazer doesn't have an issue with the venture carbs . Plugs are dark brown and stock pipe and jets. Could this be a reed going bad or cd box issue? At a loss on this one. Thanks

Hows your clutch bushings? Rollers good? Flat spot on the clutch weights?
I will take a look a that. Hadn't thought about clutches. Thanks

I was playing with my 86 Phazer this weekend and had a similar problem. I removed a shim in the secondary becuz the belt was just slightly lower than it should be. Now it is smooth all the way up.
