Does anyone have a service manual for a 98 Vmax 500 XT. I need to know what the stock twist is on the secondary. It's currently at 2-6 (80*) and it seems a little slow to shift in the mid reange and low on revs on the top end (7500). I don't usually drive the sled so it may just be me. I just want to make sure I have the twist right before I start changing anything else.
The secondary has been serviced and has new ramp shoes, the belt is new, offset is good, primary has been cleaned and checked. The sled has 12000 km on it and the primary weights are just beginning to show some very slight waves on them. I think it may be time for new weights and springs.
