Not sure why this is happening, twice in 2 years, right side piston over heated, rod bearing shot, not sure about crank bearing until I finish taking the engine out and the case apart. Cylinder was getting coolant, plug looked a little black, oil reservoir was full, no warning light on. Need to find the cause so it doesn't happen a 3rd time, my other Viper seems bullet proof but this problem one is just that. Any cause suggestions are appreciated. Thanks,...chris

I hate to say it, could be the coil not working right, could be either too rich or too lean, had a enticer 340T and same thing, I wanted to take it apart, dad shot it with a slug haha, I says check the carb, cause it might be lean, too lean and running hot

Carb could need cleaned. Bad crank seal could also be a possibility.
