I have a 136 track viper I want to add at least 1.5 inch paddle on. What do I have to do to get it to fit on there would adding drop brackets help or not really!

1.5 will fit perfect for this sled. You just have to remove tunnel and heat exchanger protectors. Drop brackets will help you a little with tunnel clearance but that is up to you. I have 2 viperss at 144" and one with drop brackets and one without. Ride about the same off trail.

If you do use drop brackets i recommend CB performance drop brackets. And dont go any more then 2.5 inches otherwise it gets messed up with geometry and you end up making a plow truck. If you use his brackets let me know have some simple install tips for ya.

How do I remove the protectors?

For tunnel its as easy as removing seat and drilling out rivets holding tunnel guards on. Front heat exchangers are welded on. Simply get in there and start cutting welds then they just pound off. Just be careful cutting but very easy when tracks out.

My 04 viper has the Hartman rail extension kit with the skid relocate making the rear bumper height way higher I also have a 1.5" lug camoplast cross country track which is a 136" long track! Amazing sled on trail and in deep powder last year was stock other then that this year is. Whole new sled! Night and day difference! Some highly recommended mods are heel clicker clutch kit, Boyesen rage cages anti Rachet drivers and an exhaust can
