Just testing the electrics on a viper er for a friend and found the starter turns over with the kill button pressed.. I can't see this being normal but I don't have an electrical diagram to confirm this. Anyone with an electric start viper able to confirm if this is normal?

My 2004 Viper ER will not crank over with the handlebar kill switch pushed down " Off " the power valve motor also won't cycle until the button is pulled up or " On ".

My 04 won't but my 02's will.
Yep- My 04 had to have the kill switch on but my 02 and 03 would turn over with in the off position.
