Hello all. I got my SRX on the snow and It runs great and pulls very hard. My problem is starting it. This is a new to me sled and was told the engine was rebuilt. It has butterfly carbs. I replaced all the fuel lines and impulse line. Adjusted the chokes it will not start on full choke. I hade to pull the air box and it will only start on spray and needs constant spray in both carbs till it picks uP RPM then runs great. No bog no hesitation. Nothing. Shut it off and let it sit for 10 mins. No go. Needs spray again. I was thinking fuel pump ??? Can u still get repair kits for these pumps ? My Local yammy dealer was not having much luck. I noticed it originally had a fuel shut off in line. I did not put it back in place. Do these carbs drain back into the tank ?? It has 145 and 135 compression. Am wondering if it could be crank seals ??? Bad rebuild ?
Any thoughts ?
On a side note, first time on an SRX and man these things are damn fast...

Check choke cables- maybe they are broken??

Carbs have not been cleaned and that will be next. Choke cables after looking again may be questionable I could look at an aftermarket pump It just won't bolt up to stock position on the air box but could eliminate it just by hooking up a different pump.
