Digatron Tach Hookup 02 Viper

Does anybody know the proper wire to hook the orange tach wire on the DC power harness. I have a red, black, and orange. I can hook the red wire up to the same wire I hook my visor up to and the black is just a ground. Do I have to hook it up to the wire coming out of the CDI that goes up to the Tach? Or do I just tap into a wire coming out of the stator? Thanks for any help.

you can ..

just splice it in anywhere , i hooked mine up by the main plugs up by the front left side bumper ..good luck ..

This is the correct wire. I hooked mine in up in the main harness by the headlights.

I couldn't go in up by the headlights. My EGT gauge is mounted on my handlebars. The connection down by the CDI worked out real well. I could hook all three wire up right there. The red power wire tapped into a blue wire going into a relay above the CDI. THe ground wire attached to the Powervalve groud wire. Worked real slick.
