Hi All -
I recently picked up a 1998 VMax 700 SX. Cosmetically it's in a little rough shape but mechanically it is sound. One of the issues is that the left ski is sufficiently damaged, please see pics. It's a USI, I have tried looking for a replacement with no real luck. Here are my options:
1. I can get a pair of used C&A TRX skis locally (without mounting hardware and carbides) for $150, with the hardware I'd be around $240.
2. I can also get a pair of touring Camoskis with hardware and carbides for around $200 (new).
3. I have also read about using 'tuner' skis but I can't find any real information on this.
My question is knowing these options what would you do? Any and all suggestions would be appreciated!

For the money, hard to beat a tuners. Best all around trail ski. Order bolt and ski for 2013 nitro

We run the arrow ski on our srx and deluxe. Work great. Tuners would be good also, I run those on my apex xtx.

My our personal preference are USI Triple Threat X2s. But any plastic ski will work just fine.
I have tripple threats and they can be a handful, as well as pricy. Those look like the correct part number. You should just get them from your local dealer, It looks like they are just selling them for retail and eating the shipping. Your dealer could use the money.

Understood, I'll give them a call today. Is there a hardware kit for a VMax that I should be looking for as well?
