I have a 2000 sxr 700 when I filled it with gas and parked it overnight I came out the next morning and there was a puddle of gas under it. Motor was full of gas. Drained it all out and pulled the fuel lines to the carbs off and gas never stopped running out of the 3 hoses. Think the fuel pump is bad but not sure. I have another sxr 700 and pulled the 3 carb hoses off that one and fuel does not run out. I have fuel pump off a 02 viper and was wondering if that would work it looks the same but has an additional hose that goes across the top that the sxr does not have. Does anyone know about why this would fill the engine with gas or if the fuel pump off the viper will work? Thanks, Joe
