Got a 02 Viper in boxes the other day. Previous owner said it didn't run right and took it apart. I put it back together, have 130,130,120 for compression. Been through a lot of carbs and went through these twice. Even tried my buddies carbs off his 04 viper. Still doesn't run quite right. Everything is set to stock. It will idle OK, any amount of throttle it falls on its face and backfires. Plugs are soaked, feel like I'm missing something. Tried a different can just thinking it might be plugged. (Grasping for straws here)
Really don't know what I'm missing.

have you inspected the reeds? how far apart was it? is there any warning light blinking on the dash? need to check a couple more basic things but the following check will be the phase of the crankshaft.

When i didnt have the dash, gauge or anything on top of the hood, my 02 was like this, went thru 12 plugs a month, check Harness rubs, and check the stator, pick up and the TORS, as mentioned before

you need to check alot of stuff. you changed carbs and it did not help. 3:16x (yammie tony)
No warning lights. Checked TPS adjustment. It's not TORS, had it activate on another viper, doesn't act like that. I would assume pickup is working if it runs? Stator checks out per the manual.

Plugs shouldnt be soaked. Maybe a fuel issue? When my fuel pump was shot, my sled backfired like crazy. Like a damn shotgun
