I have a 94 phazer that my son has been riding for a few years. He had been complaining about how hard it is to steer the phazer and really noticed after he rode my sxvenom. I looked at it and rode it and you can't hardly move the skis at slow speeds or a stand still, like you can with my other sleds. After crawling up into the skid frame I noticed the front strap is on the tightest holes and then was cut (by the previous owner) so I can't loosen up and the rear strap has play in it. When the sled sits on level ground, only the back 1/3 of the track is in contact with the ground , putting a lot of weight on the skis. It almost sits like an upside down 'v'. All the places I've called and try to order them, no one has any, they aren't being made any more. Anyone have an in where I might find one or is there a material I can make a new one back to spec to loosen up the front of the skid?
thanks a bunch
