Looked thru this forum and found lots of helpful info about testing stators but none that referred directly to the 1994 vmax 500 , my question is which of the six wires in the connector from the stator should be reading what ?
From upper left corner with connector pin down my wires are , Black, Yellow, Yellow/black
Brown, Black/red, White

Specs I found on this forum have told me that from the Brown to Black/Red should be about 250 ohms but my digital meter is not even picking up continunity between those leads so is a blown coil in the stator or should I not be reading between them ?
Any help would be appreciated
