I didnt want to run this thread on the 4-stroke forum, because as of now my heart is still with my SRX....

that said, IM strongly considering looking at a 2005 Vector Mountain with extremely low mileage.

I will really hurt to sell the SRX, but I'm needing a sled more suited to breaking trail, hauling ice shack etc.

Ideally Id love to keep SRX as well, but if its not going to be used, may as well sell it and let someone else enjoy it.

For now, just looking for some opinions if any of you have any experience with the Vector Mountain (or just vectors i general)

Any gremlins to worry about? And common issues/complaints?

From what Ive read online they are a solid motor and tons of torque.

Pic on left is my old 99 SRX. My 2001 in MINT as well, and only has 4100km. All white accessories went on 2001 when I sold my 99.

check if the timing chain tensioner update was done, check maintenece items and ride is pretty much it.

get ready to go slow. that vector will pull ok to bout 70, then you will want your srx back. the vector rides quit nice tho

My sister just got a rs rage (136), same animal and its a real nice Sled. Pulls hard, plenty of power and rides like a couch! I liked it very much!
