Mountain Max 700 updated drive shaft help

Can anyone in depth tell me how to distinguish the old shaft from the new one? Or pictures? Tia!

The old shaft on the speedometer end has a 45* chamfer from the bearing surface to the end of the shaft. The newer shaft it has a slight step cut into it.................SRXtreme

That's the old shaft!!!! Your 1st photo show the 45* chamfer......................SRXtreme
