Well boys another weekend done, another 260kms for me on my 99SRX. So far 510happy trouble free kms over 2 weekends. Hopefully all stays that way knock on wood.
One thing I have noticed is that when I start the sled up the temp light flashes twice. Is this normal? Is it just a warning to let you know the system is functioning correctly? Thanks guys!

Yes it flashes, then stops. Like a self diagnostic at start-up. If continues flashing, it is a code. Just fixed mine about 10 mins ago. Had a TPS code, had a broken wire, but all good now. It flashes at start up now, then nothing after a couple seconds.
my 2000 does the same thing I think it should be three flashes but so far I haven't had any issues

Yes correct I believe it is three and I may miss the one flash sometimes since I can't look quick enough. Most times I only see two flashes

Mine was 2 or 3 flashes. Glad your getting in some ride time bud! I'm hoping to get up from February 18th to 20th. Probably staying at silver sands resort in Kearney. I think that's what it's called anyways. I'll let ya know Forsure!
