i bought an 04 viper er, its completely stock and i was wondering what the best clutch set up would be, i want it to have good low end punch but not have too much track spin, and still pull hard all the way up through the rpm's. thanks

I have heard of heel clickers before but I don't really know what they are. could you explain how they work?

they are aftermarket primary clutch weights and spring that you tune for your riding style. many set-ups are posted in the user set-up pages. most viper owners use a 40-10 heelclicker set-up.

So I wouldn't have to worry about messing around with my secondary? Also what are heavy hitters? I've read a few things on them

well most that have used them also use a multiangle helix for the best gains. my fav set-up for heel clickers is 40-10 heel clickers with the red spring with 3 grams in the heel and empty tips to start with using a 05 rx war secondary helix with stock 02 viper secondary spring. using this on a 2005 sx viper venture and it pulls good corner to corner in the trail and still tops 100mph.
never used heavy hitters myself so i cannot comment.
