I bought a 2004 SXViper ER 700 at the beginning of last season, this was a near stock sled with a 136" track kit from hartmen installed,

I rode one year trouble free riding, no maitnance, no repairs till about 11,000mi when i parked it for the sunmer.

This year it was time to do what i wanted with this viper, I felt itd be a good time for a rebuild (11,000mi) so i installed some goodies, i wanted a Crossover sled. That way on the trail its a fast good riding and handling sled and also a powder monster!!!

So heres what i did for the 2016 season on the SXViper Crossover build!

- 1st was the engine bay!!
• MBRP Trail Can
• Boyesen Rage Cages
• Brake Pads
• Drive Chain
• Heel Clicker Clutch Kit
• WEISCO Forged Piston Kit
• Full Engine Gasket Kit

- 2nd was the the chassis
• Anti Rachet Drivers
• All New Suspension Bearings
• Boss Seat
• Gas Tank Bags
• 2.5" Bar Risers
• Dually Woody Carbides
• Repaint Exhaust
• Touch Up/Paint Front Suspension Rust/ Scrathes And Repaint Hood Screens

Now for the build pictures!

Final Assessment and Review:

This build i did was with a stock 2004 SXViper 700 ER (aside from long track)

I began this build this year when i added my desired mods,

- camoplast cross country 1.5" lug 136" track
- anti rachet drivers
- new drive chain and maitnance parts
- WEISCO forged piston kit
- full gasket kit
- boyesen rage cages
- heel clicker clutch kit
- boss seat
- tank bags
- 2.5" bar risers
- mbrp trial can

All i can say about this build is i got exactly what i wanted out of the viper! I wanted a trail/powder cross over sled and thats exactly what i got.

The heel clicker clutch kit, boyesen rage cages and forged pistons made my power delivery insane over stock, its a rocket out of the hole stunning mid range and a nice rev out to 120mph on sled gauge

The long track with 1.5" paddle and anti rachet drivers make it perfect for handling on trail yet amazing when you pull out into the powder and want to climb hills and bang drifts the traction is there when racing and deep snow powder playing.

These mods make it a totally new sled that feels nothing like your stock viper and will still get you 100 miles on a tank driving it hard and playing around alittle.

I would recommend what i did to anyone looking to get a little more juice outta that old viper! This is a stock apearing sleeper that will wipe many new 6, 7 and 800's out any day of the week.
