I recently bought a spare parts sled for my 2000 srx 7000. Its a 98 srx. It has Bender trail ported cyls and vforce reeds.what hp difference will I see by taking the 98 ported cyls and putting them on my 2000?
I can't say for sure what the numbers will be but you'll be close I'm thinking.The 00-02 engines had different port timing in the cylinders to start with but where the 98 ones are ported you should almost be a bit more on hp than a stock 00.

I'd say you'd probably be 10-15 hp more. Bender did good work
