Red head 700/SRX parts

Just picked up a red head, first non-pv 2stroke and was wondering if anyones ran srx reeds along with srx pipes on it..also was wondering what the word on removing gaskets are..remove couple layers, one layer on top along with stripping a bottom one? Or does a guy get away with removing just a layer or two on top only and good to go

I've seen some with the reeds but don't know about the pipes.

Or you could do reed spacers.

SRX reeds will not fit w/o grinding. And modding SRX pipes to a redhead is rather pointless.

Thats what i figured, ive got PI pipes and spacers on already but have a set of srx pipes sutting around and was

I run the SRX reed in my 700MM. It needs to be case ported though.I think there is a few running the pipes but IMHO not worth it when a used set of PI's or Bender's can be picked up cheap.......................SRXtreme
