I just purchased a 2001 SRX that has a bender racing clutch spring set up in it that broke the primary spring. I called them in order to new spring kit, got it ordered. and now I called back and emailed trying to see if they can overnight ship everything. I can't get a hold of them now and their voice mailbox is full. Is there some event that they might be at as why they aren't there I'm not mad I'm just curious my first time dealing with them. They were very helpful over the phone. I just want to ride!

Ive had no luck the few times ive tried contacting them over the years.
Yes, unfortunately bender is very hit or miss in terms of support.

When I first got my 95/96 sleds new I bought a fair amount of parts from them. They do/did have some unique items. I bought my adjustable transfer rods from them. They were the only place that ever made them for a 96 XT.
Years later when I wanted some clutching/jetting info for these now "old sleds" I definitely got the message that they were not at all interested in helping me.
I was told by them in an email "all of that old info was thrown away"
I called them and was told the same thing? Really, all of that work they did to come up with clutch setups and jetting tunes and they throw the info out?
Some of you older guys might remember their whole spiel they had in their catalogs of how they would go to Alaska in the fall so they could get a jump on the setups for the new model of sled before anyone else.. They are going though the expense of all of that and then throw the data way?
Like I said before, I miss Maxximum Performance, they were my go to place.
PS: I'll say welcome. A name like "Honky lips" doesn't scare me.....
