I had my little helper in the shop with me and she got a hold of the power valve while it was outta the jug and pulled. I heard the servo motor start to turn and before I realized what was happening she pulled the cable out about a half inch or at least enough that I can unhook valvE from cable now. Am I screwed or is this fixable??

So do I have to energize the Servo with the lawn mower battery trick for it to turn back and take up the slack that was pulled out first then adjust accordingly? Or is where it's at now the starting point?

you dont need to use a battery at all. just turn idle down to 900 and motor will cycle.

No carefully turn back with a pair of channel locks. Just cover servo with rag so you don't mark up servo. Counterclockwise will tighten cables. Buy wise to adjust once back together!

What super1c said but you can do it by hand, no need for pliers. its not that difficult to turn it back.
