Although 25 year old cut sheets will tell you to run a 320 or 330 main jet, start with a 350 and work your way down. The last two piped exciters I built required two sizes larger than recommened on the mains for today's pump premium. Stock clutching should probably ok,but a stiffer engagement will make it come out of the hole harder. Make sure your clutches are in good shape or the pipe will do nothing for you. I believe that pipe runs at stock RPM so you are looking for 7250 target. If you are reving past that, you are losing hp to the ground.
