Now with the sled running right I can move onto the next phase and get the suspension figured out. This sled has, from what I am told, a 340 skid and track under it. I can not confirm that, but it does look like the same setup as the other completely stock 300 I brought home with it, just longer. Now it moves fine and everything looks like it is in good shape under there but it is really soft. I can bottom it out just by stepping onto it, not sitting down or jumping on, just my weight alone. (200lbs) I moved the composite sliders up a hole and rotated them already, that helped but it still bottoms and I can hear the track rubbing the tunnel while riding. This is constant and happens after every bump. I am going to replace the shock, as it is shot and not doing much if anything, but I don't think that is the only issue.
Are there other adjustments on this skid?
Am I looking at replacing the coil springs as well as the shock to cure this?
Is it common for the track to rub when the suspension bottoms out? I wonder if the previous owner installed the different track completely wrong and is the reason its messed up to begin with.
Thanks in advance,

sounds like a bad shock and a set of weak springs to me. those sleds never had much travel but it is bottoming way to easy from the sound of it.

Is there a way I can get new springs? I can find the shock all over, but I haven't seen any spring listings.

can we see a pic of the skid in the sled as i assume it is either an enticer 300 or inviter 300.

The skid shock on my stock 80 300 suspension (102" short track) is VERY stiff to compress by hand and rebounds hard. It helps supports the weight, it's not just a damper like most shocks are.
looking it up in the catalog the Enticer 300/340 take the same shock.
Replacing the shock first to see what effect it has before tracking down springs would be my suggestion.
