Got the steering shafts removed. Can't get the tie rod ends out of the Bell crank on the viper. Are they like a taper fit or threaded into the Bell crank?

I use a pickle fork, just be careful not to damage them. They are taper fit.

all you need to do next time is hit the side of the bell crank next to the tie rod hole with a quick hard blow. It will momentarily egg the hole and the rod will fall right out

Good info...I just put an old nut on it as to avoid mushrooming the end. Small propane torch for about a minute and presto.all you need to do next time is hit the side of the bell crank next to the tie rod hole with a quick hard blow. It will momentarily egg the hole and the rod will fall right out
